This Privacy Policy explains how myasiatrip.com handles information when you use the website. Some services described below, including Google Analytics, may be activated as part of the site’s public launch.

Information you provide

MyAsiaTrip currently does not operate user accounts, comments, a newsletter signup or a contact form. The site therefore does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, travel profiles or payment information through those features.

If a public contact channel, newsletter or account feature is introduced, this policy will be updated before that feature is enabled.

Technical information

Like most websites, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical request information needed to serve and protect the site. This can include:

• IP address;
• browser and device information;
• requested URL and referring page;
• date and time of a request;
• security, error and performance logs.

MyAsiaTrip does not use this information to identify individual readers. Hosting providers may retain technical logs under their own operational and security policies.

Analytics and advertising

MyAsiaTrip uses, or intends to activate at public launch, Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and use the website. Depending on your consent choices and the configuration available in your region, analytics information may include:

• pages viewed and navigation between pages;
• approximate location derived from an IP address;
• browser, device, operating-system and screen information;
• referring website or campaign information;
• interactions such as outbound-link clicks and infographic downloads;
• session timing and aggregated usage measurements.

Google processes this information on MyAsiaTrip’s behalf under its own terms and privacy safeguards. MyAsiaTrip does not send names, email addresses, passport details, payment information or other information intended to directly identify a reader to Google Analytics.

MyAsiaTrip does not sell personal information. Google Analytics advertising features, remarketing and personalized advertising are not enabled unless this policy and the site’s consent choices are updated to explain them.

MyAsiaTrip also loads Travelpayouts Drive, a third-party script used to verify and configure the site’s affiliate infrastructure. Drive may analyze page content and structure and receive technical or interaction information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referring pages, clicks and other page interactions. Depending on the features enabled in the Travelpayouts dashboard, Drive can convert eligible external links into affiliate links, add contextual links or recommendations and measure their performance.

Installing Drive does not mean that every travel brand has approved MyAsiaTrip for its affiliate program. MyAsiaTrip displays its own affiliate product placements only for programs connected to the MyAsiaTrip project and for links generated for that project. If Drive or another affiliate feature creates a commercial link, the link may record that a referral came from MyAsiaTrip.

Cookies and local storage

The editorial website does not currently set its own non-essential cookies. Hosting, security or content-delivery services may use strictly necessary mechanisms to deliver and protect the site.

When Google Analytics is enabled and you grant analytics consent, Google may set first-party analytics cookies, commonly including _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie. These cookies help distinguish visits and calculate aggregated usage statistics. Their exact duration depends on the Google Analytics configuration.

Where consent is required, analytics storage will be denied by default until you make a choice. You can reject non-essential analytics without losing access to the site’s articles. The site will provide a way to revisit or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Travelpayouts Drive and participating travel brands may use cookies or similar identifiers to attribute referrals, measure interactions, prevent fraud and calculate commissions when the relevant features are active. The exact cookie names and retention periods depend on the Travelpayouts or travel-brand service involved.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies may make usage measurements less complete but should not prevent normal reading and navigation.

External links

Articles link to government agencies, transport operators, attractions and other external websites. Those sites may collect information or set cookies under their own privacy policies. MyAsiaTrip does not control their practices.

External links open separately and are marked with appropriate relationship attributes. Affiliate links, including links processed by Travelpayouts Drive when that functionality is active, may allow a partner to record that a referral came from MyAsiaTrip. See the Affiliate Disclosure .

Embedded content

The site loads Travelpayouts Drive on its pages as described above. It does not currently embed third-party video players, social feeds, maps or newsletter widgets that load automatically on article pages. If other embeds are added, this policy will be updated to explain what data may be sent to those providers.

Data retention

Because the site currently has no user accounts, contact form or newsletter, MyAsiaTrip does not maintain a reader-submitted customer database through the website. Technical logs may be retained by hosting or security providers for operational, abuse-prevention and legal purposes.

Google Analytics event-level data is retained for the period selected in the Google Analytics property settings and is then deleted according to Google’s retention process. MyAsiaTrip will choose the shortest retention period reasonably useful for understanding site performance and will review the setting when analytics is activated. Aggregated reports may remain available without identifying an individual reader.

Travelpayouts and participating travel brands retain referral, interaction and transaction information under their own policies and program requirements. MyAsiaTrip does not control the retention periods used in those external systems. See the Travelpayouts Privacy Policy for more information.

Children

MyAsiaTrip publishes general travel information and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current site features. The website is not designed as an online service directed specifically at children.

Security

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. MyAsiaTrip limits collection by not enabling unnecessary data-collection features. Readers should avoid sending sensitive personal, financial, passport, health or booking information through any future general editorial contact channel.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal information, or to withdraw consent. These rights are subject to applicable law and may not apply to anonymous or aggregated information that cannot be linked to you.

Because no public privacy mailbox has yet been configured, a verified request channel is not currently available. This is a known launch requirement. The Contact page will be updated with a monitored channel before MyAsiaTrip enables reader-submitted data collection.

Changes to this policy

We will revise this page when site functionality or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a material revision is published.
